Hillcrest Road Vineyard Chardonnay

Circe Hillcrest Road Vineyard Chardonnay is drawn exclusively from the Hillcrest Road Vineyard at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, planted to I-clone Chardonnay.

The vines, sited in deep red volcanic basalt soils, are dry grown and meticulously managed to produce low yields of high quality fruit. The grapes are hand harvested.

The fruit is pressed directly to French oak barrels, around one third new. There the juice undergoes fermentation and maturation.

Bright yellow, Circe Hillcrest Road Vineyard Chardonnay has concentrated citrus fruit flavours and flawless acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
